we only reach our habour place at about 0200 and finally we can do some cleaning up. i took off my boots and turn it over to dry it. the water that was trap for the whole day flow out like a muddy waterfall. freaking disgusting and i dun even know how to describe the shape my feet after soaking one whole day. in the end, i only get to sleep at about 0300 and that felt like the best time in my life.

yet god had foesken us as the rain pour again at 0500 and wake everyone up. as we are all sleeping in the open, our damp cloth are now once again dripping wet and the morning breeze felt even more cold. only slept for 2 hours and now we have to prepare for our next training. i reapply my camou cream on my face as the rain washes off everything and move out in the jeep.

and so for the whole day, this visious cycle of hot and cold continued to repeat itself untill night fall. and due to this, i get heat rashes on my back for the first time in my life. it felt much worst than normal sun burn as the pain just come and goes as and when it like. so irritating especially wearing a uniform.

but at least we start to move back to camp at 2000 as training is finally over. although it is only 2 day 1 night, but it seem like weeks due to the unusual weather pattern. i have been to much longer outfield before but it has never felt so bad, i guess the rain make it very metally taxing and it is quite shocking i am not down from fever. i guess i am use to it already .lol.

this shall be the second most memorable moment other than brunei trip that i will never forget. the way i was being exposed to extreme condition that i have never experience before. oh man, i just wish i have a camera to ake down those priceless moment. lol.

wake up at ungodly hour of 0230 and we only slept at 2200 last night. after applying camou cream on our face, we move out at 0500 without breakfast and we begin the worst outfield in my whole life.

the weather look fine for the day but the first rain came at 0830. we put on our rain coat but it stop raining at 0900 and the hot sun rises and burn everything. it felt good at first since it dry our wet clothe and just when our clothe are dry, another rian came and wet everything again. this cycle of getting wet and dry repeat itself for about another 2 time before the final big rain came which last about 2 hours.

at the last rain, everyone just give up all hope of being dry. we took off our rain coat and helmet and just let the rain flush through everything. we were so wet that our boot have enough water trap inside to rear fishes in it. when the last rain ended, it is night time already and the cold wind kick in. so there is no way to dry our clothe and everone is just shivering from being cold and wet.

well, the training does not end just because it is night time. i have to recce around in the dark to put up sign and marking for the battlion line up. due to the heavy rain, the whole place is full of water and mud. the ground is so muddy that it look like very thick milo and every step i took just sank in.

but there is really nothing i can do about it so we bare with the cold like we always do and try to catch come sleep in the open. that is life man, my life.....

ha! after working for 4 hours after midnight, i finally get all my com parts together and running. at first it was rather scary as it was my first time fixing a com parts by parts. usually u will ask the shop vendor to do it for you but i decided to try it out. well, there is a first time for everything. and it is really much easier than u think.


the result of my hardwork. ^^


when i first took out all the old parts, it was like a dump inside the box. dust is evrywhere inside and even spider live in it. lol. so i have to spend about 30min cleaning up the inside. most of the old parts are still usable but it is rather unstable. so now that i have a new com, what is left for me is to test its limit. lol. any games for me? let just hope this com can last me untill i went uni and buy a lappy. lol.

this whole week is just about preparing our fieldpack for the upcoming red alert. damn,have to carry pager again. lol. but lucky this time i dun need to carry the pager anymore, so ugly. ha. so busy with the preparation that i am rid of all free time to draw. but still manage to draw something out, if u want to see, then ask from me. lol.

omg, untill now i still dun believe it. ippt test yesterday and i decided to run my best for a change. well, i usually slack off during the test cause lazy. the best timing i ever get before was in sec 2 and it was 11:10min. after 6 years, i finally make a breakthrough. lol. but due to me injuries, they dun register my timing and in the end, my $200 reward and gold badge just slip out of my hand damn. with that money, i might really just treat u girls to ice cream. lol.

i look through all the price list i got from sim lim and i manage to fix something out for about $500. damn. although is within my budget but there is still so many thing i want to buy!!! like piano and now there is this great singapore sale too.... shit... gonna burn my pocket!!!

after the ntu high tea, i think i have decided my path in uni.

i shall study mech enigine then in year 2, i will change to mechantronic stream and if possible, i shall study some module of biomedical engine in my year 3 and 4. in this way, i will have a degree in mech engine, a certificate in mechantronic which is same like robortic and a specialisation in biomedical engine.

ha. with this knowledge, i will be able to research more on robortic organs and body parts for people who lose them due to accident or illness. lol, what a dream... wishful thinking.

and my com is getting from bad to worst. i think i need to get a new one already. all right, later i shall go to sim lim and get those price list and create my own new com. sound fun. lol.

after returning from my run, i were so shag that i dun even feel like moving. but yet, i drag my feet into the batheroom, took a shower and prepare to go to ntu high tea. anyway, i am glad that i went since i learn quite alot of things by asking them about all my doubts. ^^

then rush to vivo city to meet my friend to watch another movie, maid of honour. i not going to spoil u guys but u people should really go watch it. although there is nothing special or complicated about the plot but the whole movie is very easy going and straight forward. so it become very enjoyable to watch it, the only bad thing is that we are seating in the first row so it is abit stressful for our neck! lol.

have supper together at xin wang HK cafe at kovan. i order their fish hor fun, quite nice. i sure waste alot of money this week, better start to save up abit. lol.

quite lucky, after my first med appt at 1pm, i manage to change my second med appt from 5pm to 2pm which save me alot of time. at first the person at the counter refuse to change for me although i politely ask her about 3 time and i was about to give up.

but then suddenly, this sweet and cute physio doc came into the counter, heard our conversation and offer to help me with my physio session. i was so grateful to her as it really save me alot of time. and she really look like my jc chem teacher and i almost wanna ask her if she has a twin sister. lol.

chat with her throughout the session and i found out there is also alot of nsf with back and neck problem so i was consider lucky. lol. she ask me how come i have such strange injuries, like in the wrist, while most of the other have back and neck. so i told her to "look at my size and u will know why. the only reason why i injured my wrist is due to carelessness and reckless." never knew physio session is so interesting. lol. so phoebe and claudia, make sure next time when u become one, u have to make ur session interesting too!!!! lol.

going for NTU hightea tomorrow at meritus hotel. free food!!! lol. omg, food again....

i have a rather wield dream last night but i can only remember some major event in it so i better jolt it down now before i forgot everything.

i think i was in AMK but not the present one, it is the old one about 5 to 6 years ago when AMK hub is not even up. how i know? cause i was in their old macdonald buying breakfast and i still remember how it look like since i used to go to their mini playground to play alot.

i order sausage muffin but they gave me some fish and chicken thingy like those in KFC. i was very angry then cause not only they gave me wrong item, they also charge me more for it. i argur with them and soon their manager came out and slove the problem. they ask me to go take a walk and come back when they call me.

so i just take a walk around the old AMK aimlessly, i just keep walking in rounds non stop, looking at my surrounding, the people, the shop and the building. then soon they call me and i just suddenly took a bus instead of walking back. lol. but the bus took me further so i alight and start running back. i dun now why, the nearer i get to the mac, the more excited i get. like there is something there waiting for me. maybe it is the food or it feellike something esle is waiting for me there. but when i finally reach and hold the door and was about to push it open, my alarm ring and i woke up.

damn. i was really curious what was behind that door. but i cant possibily went back into the dream again. i think about it and come up with some conclusion.

first, maybe i eaten too much so i dream about food or i was just too hungry again so i dream about food since i was rather hungry when i woke up. lol.

the second, since i went to amk very often last time like at least once a week so maybe i was trying to recall something i forgot in the past. like all the good memories i have back in there. i still remember the old big playground just outside jubelee in the past. the one with 2 long slide and alot of poles so u can actually climb up to about 3 stories high? so fun then with all the friends i make there but i forgot all of them already. lol.

3 night out in a row and a book out tomorrow. lol. we went taman jurong for bbq stingray. ha, all these food have make all my running useless now but at least we truely enjoy our week at PLC with all the night out we have! i hereby declare this week as good-food week! lol!

for the first time in my NS life, i actually fail to wake up on time! i only woke up because my surrounding was just too noisy and bright and not because my my alarm ringing. damn, must be too tired from yesterday movie rush! in the end, i have to rush packing my stuff cause we are moving to PLC for training for the next 2 day.

ha, night out again!!!! about 10 of us, we book the whole bus to bring us to bugis then we have steamboat buffet there. the bus cost about $5 which was quite cheap since there is a jam in the middle of the journey. the shop is just outside the hotair balloon ground but i dun know what is it call since it has a very strange chinese name. u will know what i mean when u happen to see it.

they have got quite a variety there ranging from seafood to common meat plus their boss is very friendly. you just need to tell them what u want and they will bring it here for u. all the fish and meat are very fresh plus they are in very thin slice so it is easy to cook. i ate so much that i lost track of what i have eaten. lol. but the best things there is their fried man tou! it is hard and crispy on the outside but yet soft and warm in the inside. plus it is bite size so you can just pop one into your mouth and enjoy and mix of hard and soft! btw, it cost $21. :(

we ate for about 1hr30min which was rather long i think since we never take any break in between. lol. i guess the boss must be cursing us at the back for eating so much. lol. we slipt into 2 group after dinner. my group( the boring one) went to the book store while the other( the horny one) went to the sex shop in bugis street but we head back after 30min. short of time. lol.

after the guard duty last night, i was practically knock out for the whole day. i slept from morning to evening, the only time i woke up is when going for lunch and preparing for night out. lol, first time i slept like a pig in camp.

inorder to catch the 7pm movie at century square, we have no choice but to took a cab down. lucky no jam or my pocket will be burnt! why so rush? cause we are release at 6.30pm and have to be back by 10.30pm. and since the movie is 2hr30min, we can only watch the 7pm slot. haiz. btw, we watch speed racer.

it is a rather unique movie cause its plot is simple but yet fun. it has a mixture of retro, action, racing and cartoon comedy in it. the way how the director link each plot and scence is rather impressive. plus the random addition of out of the box comedy sure give people a good laugh and make it interesting. there is 2 scene that i like alot in the movie.

SPOILER AHEAD!!!!

The first one is the starting scene. it show the past of speed, the main character, using cartoonistic CGI, like those in kids show. although it was interesting, but i was rather turn off when i saw it at first cause i though i wasted $7 on such lame CGI movie but then suddenly it revert back to their original CGI which was rather good.

the second one is a comedy scene. it is a fighting scene between the boy and the monkey in old japanese animation graphic. they were watching the jap animation and then they start to imagine themself as the character in the animation and start fighting each other. ha. it is lame i know but still, funny is all that count!

i have been surfing the net for second hand piano and i found quite a number..... currently i have set my eyes on 2 or three of them.

first one, the brand is brasted from london, selling price is $350. so cheap, very tempted to contact seller straight away but better discuss with my mum first hu is not in singapore now. but still, HAPPY MOTHER DAY!!!! i try to goggle that brand but cant find anything about it. seem to be a town in london.

second one, yamaha brand. famous for it sound and musical system. but in malaysia, only famous for bike. lol. cost $1500. i know it is a big jump but at least it is a good brand right? but still, so expensive!!!!

third, weinberg. cost $2000!!!!!! that is my budget limit. a germany brand from what i heard from friend but personally never heard of this brand myself.

so so so how???

please give me some advice... i need some help here!!!

well well, the whole day was practically just lecture since all pratcical lesson are done on wed.and to survive this gruesome theory class, i actually finish the whole box of mentos. the sudden sugar ruch do work as i manage to keep myself awake for straight 3 hours of lecture. worse than jc.....

during my free time, i read some old newspaper and found a rather interesting article. it is about rice and food price rising in the world.

as everyone know, thailand is facing food shortage and price of food is rising. apparently, US Bush is blaming all this on india and china. he say that due to the high develpoment in india and china, these country are supposing keeping all their food in their own country as their people now need better nutrition. this cause a sudden shortage of food and price is rising due to this. i personally feel that this is totally rubbish. firstly, what is wrong about keeping their own food in. it is logical to help your own people before helping other right? secondly, if they really were to export all their food out, it could have been them who is suffering form food shortages now due to their large population.

in return, US was blame as well for their bio-fuel plan. since the start of iraq war, oil price have been rising and to sustain, bio-fuel was being used. record show that there is a rise of corn used for bio-fuel from 15% in 2005 to 33% in 2008. corn can be used to produce ethanol. cool ar? and to sustain the production of corn, many farmers have turn to producing corn instead of wheats or other grains. this result in less food production.

ha, both sides are correct in some way but still, US should not blame everything on other country. they themselve should think about it and see what they can do to solve this problem. Oil price is now us$125 a barrel and expert are saying it could easily rise to us$150 or even us$200 due to the unstable inflation. which also mean it could just drop all of a sudden. sound like a good investment to me, if only i have such capital. i guess this is only a game for the riches.

ASEAN currently say that it emergency rice supply is enough for all 10 members state or even for the whole world so there is no need for worries for the moment. distribution plan are now being work out just incase if needed. the main issue now is pandemics, climate changes, enegry security and exeternal preesure that cause the rise in pice for food. but no matter what, i think we should not put too much hope on the emergency supply. it is just like our singapore water supply. although we have alot of reserve, it is still limited and if no solution is found, the reserve could still run out one day and by then, we might really be doom.....

sorry that i have to scream out like this but i just could not help myself. ha.

i actually finish studying the whole book when i was on the bus there. 350 qn! lol. but it was rather messy there as i am at a lost when i reach there. but i still manage to dig out some info by asking around where the test is or how to register.

there were 2 girl beside me during the test. one of the girl is rather funny, she wanted to activate the screen but then she touch all the button on the monitor except for the screen so in the end i have to teach her. then she keep entering the wrong password but the time has start to tick already. so i once again have to tell her that the password is on the paper. and she was like staring at the paper and say 'omg, it really was on the paper'. so i look at her and raise my eyebrow and say 'ya, it IS on the paper all along'.

they were like doing the qn so fast as if they know everything. so stressfull. but then both of them failed. which make me even more stress. i start thinking to myself, is it really that hard to pass? i watch them walk out of the room then i continued to do. some of the question are really quite tricky but lucky i passed. phew...

2 more day to a real book out day since today is just a night off. lol.

DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!

I actually lost my writing material during my training! all my dairy and ideas have all been lost! but lucky the ideas of my new poem is still fresh in my head and i got record most of my dairy entries in this blog. phew.....

now that i think about it, such incident had happen to me alot of times before. whenever i try to do something meaningful or are motivated to start a new hobby, something bad will happen.it is almost as if god or some other forces around me are trying to stop me when i try to be a better man.

when i was still fat and unfit in the past, whenever i wanted to run and lose weight on my own, it will start to rain after i put on my running attire. then when i took them off since it is raining, it will stop. and it happen most of the time.

when i finally understand the wonder of music and piano, my wrist was injured just after a month i started learning piano. and now it threaten to destroy my hope of playing the piano if not taken care properly.

And now when i decided to keep a record of my lifes so that i can reflect on my action in the future, i lost my dairy. even the new pencil that i bought for drawing is now lost!

so now all i can do in bunk is just play psp or stoned! damn. but nevermind, i am not going to give up like this. i have been through so much and nothing can stop me when i set my mind, not even god.

suppose to study for BTT after my own night run but just could not resist watching some anime. and by the time i notice, it is 10pm and it is time to sleep. omg! i did not study anything at all and tomorrow is the test. shit. lol. may luck be with me!

I finally went for my very first physio section at CGH. my first medical appointment was suppose to be 31 march but due to all the activities i have in ns, it has been pushed back untill today. almost 2 month of waiting, can you believe it? thank ar army!

so this is how the ultasound work. first they will do a hot-cold test and a sharp-blunt test on the injured area. you must pass the test before you can carry on with the section but i dun really know why. then they will apply some gel or jelly which felt very cold at first. after that they will use a heater of something to hest the gel up so my wrist felt warm. quite effective as the swelling get smaller but it swell back at night again. suppose to make my wrist heal faster. lol.

after that section, i still have some spare time left so i decided to pay yamaha at TM a visit. i look around and the cheapest upright piano cost $3500! OMG! SO EXP! damn, maybe i really should just get a second hand one but no matter what, i am going to buy one on my birthday. ^^.

BTT on this wednesday but i had nor study much. it feel just like my schooling day during "A" level. when i play too much game and watch too much anime. sometime when i think back, i do regret why didnt i put in more effort but lucky it still turn out well or i might have to sign on now. lol.

i was feeling very low and down for the whole day, i have this experience before but dun really remember when and why. so i was just spamming nodame cantabile into my brain while enjoying its rich yet relaxing music. orchestra sure sound nice, with the overflowing emotion and feeling of everyone mixing with the theme of the song.

but nevermind, i doubt i will ever be able to attend another one. i still remember the last one is during my jc life when some japanese school band came. if only someone show me the wonder of music eariler. damn, it is all too late now.

and for the first time in my life, i had practice my piano pieces so much that my wrist had start to hurt. shit! when is it going to heal!!! now that i think back about it, i sure waste alot of time in the past playing all sorts of sports and games. and in the end, i ended up with nothing but all sorts of inuries... ha, is it really worth it? this pain and burden that i may have to carry with me all my life if not treated properly!

sorry guys, i decided. i am not going to put in any effort anymore for the army. i will just be a reserve and let my wound heal. even if i do my best, i will never be reconised since ns is all about rank, i will never be label as better no matter what vocation i am as long as rank matter. even if i am a commando still, a lowly clerk segeant can still come and pump me for no reason and i have to listen to him. i am sick of this already, this useless system! what make them better than me? nothing!

it is ok if u are not smart in the army, actaully it is better if u are dumb. they dun need solider that can think, they just need people that follow instruction like a zombie dog without any objection. as long as u are not a segeant, they will deem u as unable to think and treat u like a chess piece to be play around. and i am not going to to be play by them. i am going to join ur little act and use ur system against you. ha.

ok, enough of my complaint. i better go back to practicing my piano since time is running short on me. a few more hour before i got to book in. cyaz this friday again as usual!

i suddenly recall a documentry that i watch yesterday night. was suppose to post it last night but then i was too fill up with writing my JB trip so here it is now. It is about body modification.

body modification apply to almost everyone. as long as u add any sort of decoration that u are not born with, gratz, u have just mod urself. lol. so basically, there is three type. first, plastic sugery. second, body artz or tatooing. third which i dun really expect at all, body building. omg!

but the one that interest me the most is the second one, body artz or tatooing. omg, i never knew there is so many ways to "draw" on your body. you can pierce, tatoo or even cut urself up... damn... that y sometime i feel that girls are actually more brave than guys as they pierce their ears or nose or some even belly. salute!! but those are like the minimal that i saw on the show. some of them pierce themself so much that i think they will fail the metal detector test straight away. lol.

i feel that tatoo was still quite ok except for the risk of getting STD if equipment is not clean properly. that is one of the reason y i may or maynot get one as i dun know which shop to trust. the other reason is the views that u will get from the public but should be ok if i get one since it is just gonna be a small one that i draw myself. ^^. i hope so. lol.

cutting urself up. lucky i have dinner before watching. too damn sick. i dun even want to know why would anyone want to inflict so much pain on themself and it dun even look nice to me. it just look unique and exotic. maybe to them it is their defination of true ART, a way to express their feeling and thoughts of this world.well, who am i to judge what is the meaning of art? i am just a small rat in this world of rubbish waiting to be clear up.

ok. enough of what i think and back on track. so they are showing the process of tounge( dun know how to spell) spiltting. damn. SICK! they spilt the front part of the tounge into 2 so that it look like a... snake? worst still, the person being cut refuse to use painkiller or anestatic cause he wanted to feel the whole process of being cut and let the adrenaline rush to his head. SICK SICK SICK!!!! that what i call wicked! and it is not just a one time thing. cause our human body tend to heal and join back cutted parts so to retain the split, you may have to come back often to be "cut" again. damn.

there is this second version of tatooing. it is call scaring. which mean cutting urself so that it will leave a scar on ur body. cool? maybe. try? never. but seriously, how can a normal person endure so much pain? to be cut all over ur body is not a light matter. but i think the most impressive person is the one performing the cut. the concentraion and precise curve and cuts. no mistake is allow at all or it will be ruin amybe forever. just like a doctor in the operation room. and also how the hell do they even think of all this ways of body arts?

human sure have change much over the years. we start off with hair design and dressing. we came up with all those fancy clothing but we did not stop there. as time pass, our sense of arts and beauty also improve. wait, is may not be improvement at all, we just change it to what we feel now and then. but are we really on the right track? i mean cutting urself up is no way a logic of arts but yet more and more people are doing it, ruining their body forever with no way of turning back. so sometime i admire their courage and determination for making that decision but yet laugh at their stupidlity. lol.

so people out there, a normal tatoo is fine but please dun go anything more than that. it is not worth it. well, that what i feel but if u are really going for anything extreme, i hope you can think it twice, no maybe trice. lol.

and i still cant get over the fact that bodybuilding is a form of body modding. i have always thought it is natural since i did not add anything extra on myself .damn. i feel like a robort now, modding my every bulk and curve. lol.

let me warn you first, this is gonna be a very long post since i am going to write about my journey in JB!!!


We left home at about 10.30am but we only reach JB at about 1pm due to the usual jam at the causeway. we have Bau gu tek for lunch at a place near sentosa. there is really a place in JB call sentosa. and to reach there, we have to take a cab which cost us rm19... zzzzz. and it dun really taste very good at all.... what a waste of money.


it is boiling as u can see. dun even know how to start eating.


after lunch, we walk to a nearby mall call the store! it is something like metro with the rojak of stuff that they are selling. that is where i bought my music blank score book, finally i can start to rearrange a whole new song myself! hope it turn out well. lol. and when i was looking for a toilet, i come by this very strange place. the whole place is so damn big and vacant but then out of no where, there is a water playground in the middle of the building.

then we took public bus back to city square which is around the causeway area. the bus was like freak!!!! ok, here it go. once u board the bus, it will move off without waiting for you to pay. you put in rm1, seat down and hold tight. then u will be in for a jolly good ride, like a roller coaster. lol. it was quite fun as we get to see JB as the bus move around the town.

soon we reach city square! and this is when the crazy shopping spree begin! everything was like so damn cheap!!!! a shirt for rm10? where to get such deal in singapore? never!!! so in the end i bought 3 shirt!!! hurray!!!! i also buy a slip on shoe for rm49.90!!! oh man, i sure love shopping. lol. addicted!

Ta da!!! dinner time! we went to some honk kong cafe! and the food taste much better than what we have for lunch. i have a curry cheese fish bake rice!! damn nice and juicy! simplying love it! just when i was about to go back, i lay my eyes on a pair of cargo jeans and i cant take my eyes off it! at first dun have my desire usual size 32 but then my mum ask me to just go try size 30. so i decided to give it a go. omg! it actually fit! maybe all those excessive running i did for the last few week has pay off and i lost a inch or two. so i buy it in the end and it only cost rm49 cause 50% off!!! lol! YAHOO!!!
