it was a rather twist of event. today was the move out day to PLC but only on yesterday was i being told that i am not moving there. the best part was, no one was going to tell me until i asked about it myself. great, that why i said those commanders were useless.

ok so now i was being burden with alot of guard duty. let see, i had 6 duty including 2 of them were weekends in a period of a month. sounded ok but the word duty just turned me off. lol. but at least during days without duty, i was given the freedom to do whatever i wanted plus the night after every duty was a bonus night off for us. lol. i guess it was finally time to put my engineering math textbook to use. oh ya, it was time to get back into shape during this time which means more running!!!

another news hit me today too. it seemed to me that i wont be going to taiwan for training anymore. strangely, i had mixed feeling about it. i was disappointed in a way that i was actually looking forward to it, no, more like looking forward to their R&R after 3 weeks of training. however, i was happy because this one month before i ORD could be used as a time for me to train and get the shape that i wanted cause i figured out that i would be busy working so no time for trianing. lol. what a screwed up!!!

i went to the doctor for my flu and cough today. waited for like 2 hours before i got the chance to see one. and that was where the screwed up parts were.

well, you see, by right i had this army bbq chalet at changi village for 2 days, from monday to tuesday. so i got mc for monday so that i can skip the chalet and rest well at home. i told my pc and he told me that either i joined them later at night when my mc duration end or book back into the camp. i tried to reason with him that since all the rest of my platoon were at chalet then just let me rest at home but yet he insisted that i choose between the 2 options and there were no other ways. he said that the day off was for those that went for the chalet so if i did not went then i would have to book back in. what kind of fuck up system was this? cant even let a sick person rest at home, forcing them to join a bbq.

well, there was another way., the more humanly way. so i went back to my doctor and told him my situation now and he gave me 2 days mc instead of 1 so that i can skip the chalet and rest at home. btw pc, even if the doctor was to refuse to give me another day of mc, i would rather go back to camp then to see your face at the chalet.

although there was nothing i could do about it since you had higher "rank" but there was really nothing much you could do to me too. why am i saying this out loud here? because i am quite fed up with the way how you see and treat all the injured personals including me. who are you to condemn us? we were the one who build up the name and strenght of the platoon when you were still training like a dog for your rank. all you did was just came in here and took over everything and claim it as what you did. i looked down on you!

for the past few days, i had been down with some serious flu. due to the excessive sneezing, it had also caused quite a headache for me. lol. it was only until today that my conditions had gotten better which was about time or i may be in some serious illness. ha.

so all i do was watching anime, movie and playing the piano for the last few day when i am still sick. but for today, since my condition was better, i went out to PS with my friends for a movie. it sure felt strange to see all my friends with botak head since they just gotten out from confinement in bmt yesterday. ha, sure reminded me about my starting days but they seems to be more cheerful than i used to be last time. i seriously wondered why but could not think of a reason. ha.

oh ya, because we reached at about 8.45pm which was rather late already thus we were unable to but any tickets. so we made our way to timberland at fort canning park there for some drinks and foods but the waiting line there was like SO LONG! in the end, all of us slowly walked and joked and made our way to rafflecity. then we decided to eat sudoku which was my first time going there as well.

i had a waffle with rock melon ice cream on top and i finally understood the difference between good and bad waffle. their waffle was like so sweet( like pancake with maple sauce in it) and addictive plus the feel of it in my mouth was so fluffy too. how i wished that i could had another one of it but it was over their last order timing already. haiz... i shall go there again once i have the chance in the near future. lol.

actually, i was still quite disappointed that we did not managed to catch any movie today. i was hoping to watch some show like hellboy or red cliff but now i would had to wait till next week when everyone would be free again. oh ya, mummy movie is out next week too!!! ^_^.

well well, the first thing i saw on my blog when i booked out was someone who comment that i am a lost brats with crappy drawing. well done ting, btw, there was only a few TING i knew in my ring and why dun you educated me to some meaningful things to do in army? oh , i know, i should train my army skills more so that i could be of a better use for THEM? or should i train my physical more so i could last longer out in the field? seriously, just shut up cause you were not doing anything productive yourself too by reading other people blog and criticizing them instead of giving advices. and btw, i am way fitter than 3/4 of my battalion so i dun see the needs to train anymore unless i wanted to become arnold.

it had been quite a crazy week. all the booking in and out randomly had been draining my "cash" inside my ez link card. appointment, off and leave. so much movement just within like 2 days? does not matter anymore since i am now already out of that cursed place.

oh, i bought 2 book last week at bras brasah. one friction and one non-friction. playing for pizza was one of them while the other was engineering math. ha, i know i know, abit too early to but it now but it wont hurt to start things early right?

chalet on next monday. seriously, i really dun know what to do there. it was all the way at changi and there was practically nothing interesting to do there. it was still ok if it was at downtown cause at least there was a cinema there. and thw worst part was i still need to use half day leave just to go for it. damn....

feeling so sick now, if not for my stupid flu now or i would be attending the japanese conert band at MJC. heard them 2 years ago and i must admit that they were quite good and interesting. it was such a pity i could not join my friends there. well, i really dun want to spoil the beautiful music with my sneezing. ha

all my bunk mate, or should i say the whole battlion, have all gone to tekong for ATEC stage 1. leaving me and the other injured personal behind since they cant really do anything productive even if we go. lol. sound like i am a useless blumnow. ha, hu care?!?!?!

in some sense, this have always been what i wanted. since there are no one in camp thus is also mean no one to control us. lol. i can choose my own eating timing, my sleeping time, my wake up time. ha. blaabababba... ha. but too bad i dun have my psp with me.

but luckyly, my friend lent me his warcraft archive to read. at first i was not interested in the book cause i was more interested in him lending me his psp. ha. but i still took it just in case and i am glad i accept the offer. i was addicted to it by just reading a few chapters. ha, first time in a long time since there was a book that can capture my attention so much. lol.

ha, guess what. i fail to go to the bookstore today again. i wasted my whole day playing piano again. ok la, i did go to AMK with my family for dinner.

i am now stuck with 2 option. as u all know, my psp is screwed with a broken lcd so now i am hesitating whether to repair it anot. repair cost is about $100. or in exchange for not repairing, i can use the money to buy a jap language self help book to study which only cost $50. so people, what ur advice? repair my psp so i can watch anime in camp or just study jap in camp? oh man, this sux!!!

and i happen to notice that i have less than 4 months to ORD! it is about 119 or 118 days left!! OMG! ha. time sure fly, i still cant forget the feeling when i first enlist, when i first sleep on grass or when i first never bathe for 8 days straight! and now ORD is just within reach already. alot of poepl often told me that NS is a place to change ourseve. i wouldnt say it has make me into a better man but i guess it sure has make me tougher.it grant me both the physical and metal to face any problem that i may face next time. ha, i am writing it as if ORD is tomolo but it wont hurt to fantasize about it now. lol.

i dun really intent to blog now at first but then i think what the point of a blog if i dun blog often so i guess i will try to update abit. actually, it is not as if i dun want to blog or lazy to update, but it is more like i no longer dun know what to blog.

nothing interesting seem to be happening at all so i am at a lost of what to post. even while writing this post, i am trying my best to think of something to post, lol. certainly, i really dun want to write everything i do from morning till night as it will going to be boring. especially all i do today was practically pianoing. ha.

was suppose to go to some bookstore around city hall there as i heard some news from my friend in camp that the books there are rather cheap. ha. but then i was so addicted to piano and soon it was raining so i guess i will just go tomolo which happen to be today as it is over 12 mid night le. ha.

as i say eariler, i am already trying my very best of posting something but i have reach my limit for today so sayonara. lol.

ha, times sure fly when i am on off. i just hope time will fly that fast when i am in camp. lol.

i spend like 5 hours in total today just playing my piano. lol. yes, i am addicted!!! haha. piano is a rather good form of exercise for my injured wrist. why? it rotate my wrist without using too much strength thus it is like some kind of strengthening exercise. lol, sound stupid but it is true. haha.

well, at least this week going to be a very short week since i will be going sentosa with my unit on thursday and booking out from there. WOot!!!! more time for my piano. omg, i am going crazy over piano. lol.

Oh ya, to all my dear friends who are going to be enlisted VERY SOON, cant really remember the exact date, hope u will do well in there. a little advice from an old bird, just wayang and save your own ass first or you will be the scapegoat for almost everything. ha. and BRING MORE FOOD AND UNDERWEARS IN!!!!!!! ha.

ha. sentosa was fun in some sense. at least this is the first time i been there with my friend and not with the army. lol. the usual, went to the beach, play with the water and while i am resting on the sand, they turn me into a "merman", that is what they call me. lol. i still cant believe people actually took picture of it. lol.

then we heard over to vivo for dinner. cocoa tree now having offer. buy 3 get 1 free so chocolate lover like me, faster go grabs urs now!!!! lol.btw, do u know there was such things call chilli chocolate. lol. we have sushi tei for dinner, that was my first time eating there and also a very long time since i last eaten any sushi so that taste was like heavenly. especially when i did not have anything for lunch except for some lays~~~

omg, the sound, the feel and the touch is so totally different from a keyboard. i am so glad that i did not buy a digital piano. ha. sorry benny for doubting your word that a real paino is the best. ha.

but there is still so much things that i need to learn now like the pedal. but it is ok, at least i am doing something that i liked. lol.

so now i am selling my old keyboard away at cheap price of $200. used to be $350. so any taker just tag me or email me!!!

yes!!!! i finally bought a real piano. i went all the way down to paya lebar there just to visit the shop. the sun was so hot that i just cant stop sweating. and the shop was damn so hard to find due to all the construction going on there but i still manage to find it. heheheh

the shop uncle was very friendly as he answerd all the questions i throw at him without getting irritated. he also stand one side without any complaint as i tried out all the piano that catch my eyes. so in the end i bought a kawai cx-9 at $1850. wooo.... sure burned a hole in my pocket.. lol..

well well, today was really quite a twist of fate. stand by was suppose to end today which mean i can finally go home but the bad news came in the morning. our standby has been extended to 8 july which mean i have to be lock up for another 7 days!!! ahhh!!!!!!

strangely, i dont really feel miserable just because i have to be lock up for another 7 days which add up to 17 days in total. i felt more disappointed cause i will have to do more guard duty to cover for the rest just like what i have been doing for the past week and also my plans to buy a paino have been ruined!!! haiz....

but here is the twist.

in the evening, another news came in and now we are officially stand down which mean extension have been canceled and I CAN GO HOME AND BUY MY PIANO!!! ha. so to celebrate our stand down, we went to fish and co. during our night out to eat some real foods since we have been eating what i call rubbish for 10 days already.

and OMG, the world look so beautiful....
