SOC test in the morning once again and no one from my platoon pass again.... very sad...

the whole noon was rather packer with things like planning for a performance and going to gym. talking about gym.

since i was being excuse from carrying heavy load due to my wrist injuries, all i did was run at the treadmill in the gym. i ran so much that i actually clocked 7km and a body full of sweat. lol. good, at least i am losing weight. come on kok boon, lose more and those abs will come out nice and hard! lol.

then we have "happy" hour aka celebration in the evening. ok la since the food is quite nice, much better than cookhouse but it is still being cook by them. so we named it cookhouse+. lol. in the end, we all book out late at 8pm. ZZZZZZ.

my sorethroat have mutated to become a slight cough and flu. so not really feeling well now..... but i still bite my teeth and bear with it. what to do? even if i see the doc, he will just say it is nothing and gave me some low grade medicine.

time sure pass fast, all i did was sleep abit and it is now 5pm!!! i decided to do some final technical adjustment before booking in. so much thing haven do yet!! haven charge my mp3, have update my psp, haven charge my phone and haven sew my csb badge onto my uniform... arghhh!!!



then i found out i got one pic from my friend which was taken back in ACE in marina square and it look quite good so decided to post it.




look at the amount of camou cream i use, it can last one week during outfield.

SOC test in the morning but since i pass it long time ago, i just act as a pacer for the rest. yuvan sprain his leg, CY fell from the beam and antz just refuse to move faster no matter how much i push him from the back. in the end, i got more tired from all the pushing. lol.

Although booking out today but i no longer feel the thrill of going home like last time. somehow i feel like there is a mountain of burdens and complaints waiting for me to clear at home. it feel so bad that sometime i dun really feel like going home. i dun even want to call back home anymore. i just want some peace and ironically, army camp is the only place i have some peace...

we display our master skill of wayang today by singing louder than usual during our run. OC and CSM were so happy that their smile was so wide and they just cant keep their mouth close. lol.

and seriously, updating 5 day of posting in one night is really tiring..... but at least i am trying to keep this blog alive so good job kok boon! lol.

well, well, the usual monthly thing. dun think the wrong way, it is just the CO parade. a extra long one and we have to dress to our smartest.

I was awarded my CSB badge finally after i completed it 6 month ago. sure take long enough for them to register it but it is still better than nothing. not everyone got it, only 59 out of 189 people in my comapny got it. in the end i need to bring all my uniforms home to sew it on... haiz,...

in the evening something stupid happen. a 3km run turn to 7km run. not that i mind because it is nothing to me but i just dun like the reason they gave for the extension. they say we did not run inline and did not sing loud enough. come on man, if wanna train then train properly, dun wayang and sing! 180 people in 3 lines? how to keep them together when everyone have different fittness? use your brain la.

i went for a hiv blood test in the morning. not that i have done anything strange or sleep around like what celine say. it is just a routine for everyone that had been to brunei for oversea training. so dun worry.... i am perfectly clean and healthy. lol.

The medic there were like playing around with the needles and our blood. almost fell like standing up and gave them a beating! Firstly, the amount they draw from me is more than needed. then they cut my hand while removing the needle. in the end i lost so much blood that i felt giddy and my vision turn 80% white. but lucky i concentrate and prevent myself from fainting. it result in a blood clot in my arm as there is some internal bleeding and it numb my hand.

went to genji sushi during night off for dinner. no buffet there, all ale carte. it cost me a bomb, $22.30 but i think it is ok since it has been a long time since i have eaten any sushi. the most i will try to save on other stuff. i mean TRY!!!

Oh, the blood clot still hurt!!! fuck them!!!

insanely, my festish for running is going crazy. i actually ran 10km in one night! i jog 5km with shawnie first then richard came so i ran another 5km with him. My step feel lighter each time i run, perphap a gold is not too far for me already. lol.

it has been a while since i have this feeling. the feeling of having to book in on a sunday night when everyone is still out there having fun. for the last one month, i have been booking in and out on strange day and wield timing but now everything is back to normal.

doc say my wrist have inflamation of tendon. although not sure what he mean but i think i should let it rest for now. but is there really such thing as rest in army? hell no!

i think about it and found out i was actually quite greedy about life. i want to look good, be good in sport ,good in music, good in arts and good in study as well. oh man, so many thing that i am now carrying a mountain of burden on my back now.

i have decicded to name my new story ~the last poem~, that explain my nick on msn. well, since i have been writing very emo poem from the start so i guess i should start off with a love story although i have not have much experience with love myself. well, i just let my imagination run wild then.

This world is so sick and ugly, it is full of lies yet so beautiful to our eyes. maybe i will change it next time? haha, what a dream...

went out for a movie at marina with my best buddies in sec school. never really expect that place to be so packed with people during a weekday but then, it is a friday anyway. we had pizza for dinner and we proceed to watch forbidden kingdom. in the end, we have totally no time to go shopping or what-so-ever.

and i finally saw my kendo stick, almost going to buy it yesterday but then i decided not to buy it for the moment first. have been wasting alot of money since payday. lol.

well, the movie. hmmm..... not bad, very funny and lame in some part. the girls are so beautiful and their fights are quite cool. but just cant get used to hearing them talk in english. overall, a 3.5 stars!!! ha, since when have i became a movie review personal?

watch the empress and her warrior in the afternoon. a rather interesting movie although very short storyline.
then went out to chinatown with my parent to eat dinner. after eating, i went walking around the town area alone as my parent dun want to walk around.

i walked from chinatown to outram park, then to raffleplace and finally boat quay. yes , i know i am very lame, walked so much alone. along the way i passed alot of pubs, clubs, cafes , hotels and restuarants. i guess i am trying to get back the feeling of night life. been locked up in camp for too long. well, at least now i know where to go if there is a special event in need of a special place. ha.

although still tired from yesterday duty, i still woke up at 7am to go for a short run of 6km!!!! lol.

went to eat sakura with my platoon at noon and richard did not paid and went to eat there! then went to watch the three kingdom with them again! ok, the movie was quite nice but the story was like, too short and too many open ending. after movie, we went shopping around.

i bought a $25 red addidas singlet cause they did not have a black one. i also bought a belt from far east plaza. it was a black and brown leather belt and it costs $29.90. not bad la, not very expensive i think.

I delicated this following poem to all my fellow friends that have been with me through thin and thick, play and study with me and those who have pull me out of the darkness world of isolation that i was once in. thank again!

after a horrible 14 hours shift of duty, my burden had finally being passed to another unit. WEE!!! but i only booked out at about 4.30pm which is BOO!!!!!



oh ya, the drawing. i spent about 3 hours in the dark with only a small torch light to draw it. And when i scan it, i had to waste another hour trying to adjust it contrast setting and cleaning it up. so finally here it is!

the final night shift before handing over the duty to some other unit. we brought everything that is edible out into the field. got to enjoy the last night party. lol. We also packed all our stuff as tomorrow we will all be shifting back to Selarang Camp. Sianx, i will miss the life in nee soon camp...

And for the whole night we just snacks on all whatever we had brought out. We were like some small animals hiding under a small shelter while slient lightning strike all around us. but it was a beautiful scene as we watched the light dances in the sky with the clouds. Quite a memorable night.

more and more people from other unit came to visit us which causes us to unable to slack off like we usd to do. opps, should not say that out but hu care!!! lol.

during noon, i was watching a malay fisherman using a fishing net to fish. very cool and impressive, every throw landed about 10 to 15 fishes of different sizes. he was like staring into the sea for about 5min and then suddenly he just throw the net in. i ask him why he stare into the sea like a statue and he explain to me the theory behind it. he say when the fishes move, it body will reflect the light from the sun and then we can figure out where they are. wow. that was something new i learn today. and when the net are being draw back, there was actually ice shatter in the net which mean the seabed was so cold that ice was forming in there. chill!

and for the rest of the day, yuvan and i were like screaming, shouting and singing like mad. i think we are getting high due to over inhalation of baygon. lol. then a speedboat went pass, as usual, i pick up the bino to inspect it and when i mention something about a yellow bikini girl onboard, yuvan suddenly get high and snatch the bino from me and while snatching, he hit my eye as well.... YUVAN! what the hell happen to u!!!!

i also did some drawing of a tattoo that i might have after ns. i create it from a logo that i invent for myself and some inspiration i got from looking at the different seashell i have collected there. there is actually more but i draw it on the table there so there is no way to bring them back.lol.

all i did whole day was practically just staring out into the sea and reflect on my life so far...

i am still trying to figure out out what exactly is the spark that fire off my desire to aim for the top during my school day. is it just in my blood to desire for the top or is it just because i wanted to look good to impress the girls?

eversince i enlist, i totally lost all my motivation and spirit to fight. i lost it so much that i even throw away my pride and glory when i set my mind to quit commando as i just cant find a reason to fight so hard for them. is it due to the regimental system in the army or is it just me who cant stand living in a system that cant improve.

either way, i just hope that i will get back that fighting spirit when i enter uni. no, not just hope to get back that fire, i must get back that fire or i will be screw!!!

i practically did nothing useful for the whole day. all i did was play psp, watch anime, play piano and went out awhile to buy some stuff. oh man, i really need to plan my off day better. oh ya, actually i did do something useful. i finally register my BTT at ssdc. my BTT will be on 7 may at 3.15pm. i guess i should start to borrow theory book from benny and read up for the test. but there is a problem, it is a wed so i might not even be able to book out.!!!! haiz. screw the army. lol.

my mum finally cook my favourite bak gu tek and i simply love it!! YUMMY! lol.

after a whole night of waiting, dawn finally came. had a snicker bar for breakfast and i went to the back of our position to collect more sea shells.ha. oh, and i found something comical there too. there was this tree which look like a girl body and someone actually put a light blue bra on the tree. maybe some couple came and make out there and decided to leave a little momento there.lol.

i realise that i have stoned so much during the night that i seem to have become a part of nature. moth landed on me, ants crawl over my feet and rats run around me as if i am non exisitance. i guess i have really become a true master of stoining.lol. so lame. finally duty is over and we all book out at about 11am!!! YAHOO!!!

have lunch at AMK with yuvan, wei ren and kenneth. yuvan really eat alot.lol. then i went home bathe, play abit of piano and sleep awhile. after waking up, i did some work out and training to prevent me from getting out of shape and went to eat dinner with my family.

dawn finally break free and allow us to see exactly how our surrounding look like. very screw up is all i got to say. i went over to the area where the malay guy warn us about last night but i did not find anything unusual. due to staying alert for the whole night, i practically waste my whole afternoon sleeping in bunk.lol.

finally night kick in and it is time for our night shift again. the whole night was so peaceful then it get so boring so i decided to come up with a poem.

my first shift is a night shift and it take about 30min just to get there from my current camp. but at least i got a decent transportation and not a tonner. time to describe my new position, it is infested with ants, mossy and rats. lucky for us, we got bring alot of mossy coil but i think we burn abit too much and the whole place look like a temple. lol.

then something wield happen. a a open-end lorry drove past us and stop about 100m down the track. when it past us, we could hear chanting and singing. and when it stop, we could hear shouting so we use our NVG( night vision goggle, cool ar?) to take a look at them. we saw about 3 to 4 people get down and walk around but then get back to the lorry again. then the lorry drove back the place where they came from. after about 15min, the lorry return and drove to the same area and stop. then we hear the same shouting again. soon the lorry drive back where it came from but this time it stop infront of us with full head light on shining us. we quickly took our weapon and ready ourself for what might come for us. then a malay guy , about 30 to 40 years old, came down and talk to us. he say there is something strange and wield at the back of the track and warn us to be carefull as his daughter has been processed( not sure the spelling). then the lorry left and never came back.but as it leave, we could hear singing and chanting. yuvan and i stare at each other, totally stun. damn, why did such thing happen on our first duty.

luckily, we have RTL( red tea logan) and nasi lemak from changi village as our night snack to console us but still it did not really help us alot. for the first time, all 3 of us stay alert for the whole night. ha.

it feel like i was floating somewhere inbetween reality and dream but then my soul was being call back into reality when my alarm ring. it was 7 in the morning . so i just get up, wash up and get ready to go gong ming san for some prayer.

then in the afternoon at about 12, i had prata house with my mother then i went to meet antz AGAIN to visit the library at bugis. fail to borrow anything cause nothing caught my eyes. soon boon ying came as well and we walk around bugis aimlessly like yesterday.lol. well, we did buy some snacks to eat. boon ying bought some fries while i bought a korean stick which contain a hotdog( hotdog again...) cover with fries...lol. taste quite good.

soon i head over to benny house to learn piano. argghhh!!! although i get the key correct but i still cant get the pedal footing right.so hard... but at least i master the first part of my favourite song which is right here waiting for you. damn nice... totally gotten my head into that song. i have decided, i shall play that song only to my gf( if i have one in the future).lol.

tomolo will be the start of my new shift system as well as a new location. wonder what will happen then, hope everything goes well.

ok, time for poem of the day

although i only slept for 3 hours plus but that does not stop me from going out to have fun with my friend! went out with benny and antz at about 4pm. we roam around vivo city aimlessly and joke alot along the way. have superdog for dinner, its chilli fries are good and its hotdog dun is tasty! a meal well spent! then we tok cork again untill about 7 before resuming our aimless walk.lol

ok la, not really aimless la. i did buy a slipper from ripcurl for $29 and after that we went to giant supermart to stock up for our upcoming "camping".lol. as usual, antz is looking all over the places for the cheapest cup noddles and benny is looking for some sweet to give to his student. well, i just went to get some of my breakfast and some snacks to munch during my "camping".

then we went back home after all that "shopping".

Just when things start to look better, all the bad things that have never happen before start to appear one by one. the wind was so strong that we have to use toggle rope to secure our tentage to prevent it from flying. then a rain storm come by and wet everything.... WHY? why must this happen on our last day?? and the tides timing also seem to screw up, the usual 6am low tides suddenly became 12noon. in the end we cant seem to catch anything due to the outrageously hot weather in the noon.

then the night came, for some reason, i just cant seem to sleep due to my over active think brain of something. so i just volunteer to be the last to sleep so i only get to sleep at 4am. and for the whole night, we feel like we are in night safari orchestra. we heard all sort of roars, calls, moans, howl of animals. and even a monkey appear just next to us, trying to steal our food. so me and yuvan kind of join in the orchestra and start singing along with it.ha. what a joke.

i think i am really a freak and i just confirm my new love of piano!ha.
